  4. entered longevity treatments circa 2035.
  5. By 2075 the technology would have       
  6. included support and assist prosthetics,
  7. vocal sensors and amplifiers, tailored  
  8. enzyme-hormone-peptide surrogates,      
  9. function implants, monitor sensor seeds,
  10. autonomic nervous system boosters and   
  11. cyborg reach and grip extenders. Such   
  12. measures were heroic for the time, since
  13. many humans felt the support equipment  
  14. (though not the biologicals) were       
  15. confining and limited effective         
  16. function. Thus many refused the         
  17. treatments after a certain level of     
  18. decreased functioning. I believe Mentor 
  19. maintained himself beyond that level,   
  20. although direct evidence is lacking     
  21. since he fled to Antarctica after the   
  22. PSYCHE invasion.
